The theme for #beachthursday today and the #beachchat later on Twitter (Don`t forget to join from 2.30 – 3.30 pm EDT!) is SNORKELING & DIVING.
I`m no expert in either of them, as a matter of fact I`ve never dived before, unless you count diving in a submarine as a diving experience. However I have been snorkeling at a few places and these are some of my favorites.
Green Island, Australia
This was my first big trip during my teenage years and it`s still one of my fondest memories. I do remember thinking at that time, I wish I could dive and see more. The Great Barrier Reef is world’s largest coral reef system, so what better spot to snorkel or dive than here.
Fiji
Perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. A book and a hammock to chill at the beach and crystal blue water to explore the underwater life.
Saona, Dominican Republic
Saona, a little island in the Dominican Republic has one of my favorite beaches, on top of that it`s a lovely snorkeling spot.
Riviera Maya, Mexico
This was one of my most recent trips, I didn`t see as much as I`d hope but if you`ve snorkeled at world`s largest coral reef, you`re a bit spoiled I guess.
