Right by the beach and across from the National Naval Aviation Museum, you can find the Pensacola Lighthouse. After climbing 177 steps you`ll have a stunning view over the Gulf Coast. The lighthouse was built in 1859 and is still an active aid to navigation.
Practical: the admission to the lighthouse is $6/adult (Children 12 and under, seniors 65+ and active duty military pay $4) Open from Monday till Saturday: 10 am–5.30 pm, Sunday: 12 pm–5.30pm (extended summer & holiday hours)
