Guest Post by @Lifeisgood24. Rick tells us all about his day at the beach at Doctor`s Cave, Montego Bay.
During my visit to Doctor’s Cave Beach in Jamaica, I was impressed by the cleanness of the beach area. The beach was lined with beautiful peachy & pink flora and palm trees. For your safety, there`s a lifeguard on duty.
You can find a restaurant, the Sand Restaurant & Bar, at the entrance of the beach, beside souvenir shops such as Heaven 67. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and the beach drinks welcome during a hot, sunny day.
Beach quests can rent beach chairs, umbrellas, jet skis and other beach gear. So I snorkeled the area to the pier and behind the large yellow-blue tube that was anchored.
For me, the beach was a slice of tropical paradise, amazing and priceless! The ocean was clear, turquoise shades of blue, and stunningly beautiful with very little waves. Sitting down under the shades of a tree, it was the perfect spot to chill on a beach chair, listen to some music and watch sailboats, catamarans, and even jet airliners flying over the ocean to the nearby airport (close enough to see but luckily not to noisy). An unforgettable memorable experience.
*This public beach requires a small fee, but well worth it.
