Rise and shine, its a beach day

Featured: A sketch from Colomb Bay, Goa

Usually I have a featured photo to share, but I`m excited this time I have a sketch to share from Candace. She was recently featured in the NY Times and published her first book, Beneath the Lantern’s Glow. Here`s one of her beautiful sketches.

Colomb Bay

Candace says that one of her favorite restaurants in the neighborhood is called Magic View. Candace: “No matter if you’re sat in the front section looking towards Patnem Beach or at a few tables out back overlooking Colomb Bay, the view is indeed, well, magic. The shore is lined with big black boulders, fishing boats are often pulled up on the beach, and hills in the distance have a certain way of grounding this tropical scene.”

Thanks Candace for sharing! If you want to see more of Candace`s work, pop over to her site or follow her adventures on Twitter.

This is beautiful! I love the text or ‘captions’, if you will, over the images, especially the one about the woman coming out to lay her wash to dry on the boulders. The whole scene just comes to life. Such talent! I’m heading over to Candace’s site, now 🙂 Thanks!
