Rise and shine, its a beach day

Bungalow Beach Resort

On our trip through Florida, we stayed in different hotels, Inns and vacation rentals, but one of my favorite stays was at the Bungalow Beach Resort at Anna Maria Island.

This enchanting bungalow resort reflects the charm of this beach town. Anna Maria Island has everything I look for during a beach getaway: beautiful beaches, cute little boutique, no high risers, … just pretty beach houses. And what I loved most here was the relaxed vibe, like you`re actually on island time! Find out more about Things to Do at Anna Maria Island.

Okay, back to our accommodation. Stepping into the bungalow was like walking into a dream. The interior of the bungalow is like I would decorate my very own beach house (which I would love to own one day!).

Authentic hardwood floors, white ceiling and a private porch. It gives a fresh, yet peaceful feeling. Everything you need is available, a small kitchen, fridge, TV, bathroom, … The eye for detail like embroidered towels lets you know you`ve entered an elegant place.

The fact that our bungalow was right at the beach with our own porch to sit back and relax, made the beachy feeling complete.

Another lovely detail is that all the bungalows (16 in total) have names. From Dolphin to Sunset to Coconut to Starfish. We had Hibiscus, which made perfect sense, as this flower symbolizes ‘delicate beauty’ just like our bungalow.

These bungalows sound so charming. I love the white on white decor and the amazing beach view.
